Brenda Black is an artist, activist and a seasoned professional DJ spinning live for 1000+ nightclubbers every weekend for more than twenty years. On the exclusive list of DJ’s for two world famous dance parties, Heritage of Pride Pier Dance and The Pines Party, Her client resume also includes Lincoln Center, Fire Island Pines Resorts, Shakespeare in the Park/Joseph Papp’s Public Theater, Pepsi Co, Equinox, Diane Von Furstenberg, Carson Kressley, Parkinson's Foundation, Ernst & Young and more.
Inspired by gratitude to God to give back for her blessings, Brenda founded the social impact business TFKTWA = Training Foster Kids To Work With Animals, a non profit academic program. We are in the start up phase, raising seed money, getting our legal papers together and finalizing our program to be up and running by May 2025. Our dual mission is to prepare foster kids for adulthood and help animals at the same time. All we do is in service to and for the Glory of God.
STATEMENT OF SPIRITUALITY: TFKTWA is a band* of Americans called upon by God to care for foster children and animals. We believe God grants us our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We believe in God, Family, Limited Government. We believe in the Constitution of the USA. We believe God grants us Free Will. We believe God grants us dominion over animals on Earth to care for them and protect them. We believe in the tenets of "Do Unto Others" and "Love Thy Neighbor."
Brenda is also Co Founder of L3BA, the Lex & 3rd Block Association
