TFKTWASTART UPMISSIONSTATEMENT OF SPIRITUALITYWHY WE ARE A 501D INSTEAD OF A 501C
BOARD OF DIRECTORS------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------TFKTWA: TRAINING FOSTER KIDS TO WORK WITH ANIMALS is a Social Impact Business focused on a non profit academic program.
START UP:We are in the start up phase, raising seed money, getting our legal papers together and finalizing our program to be up and running by May 2025.
MISSION: Our dual mission is to prepare foster kids for adulthood and help animals at the same time. All we do is in service to and for the Glory of God.
STATEMENT OF SPIRITUALITY:We are a band* of Christian Americans called upon by God to care for foster children and animals. We believe God grants us our rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We believe in God, Family, Limited Government. We believe in the Constitution of the USA. We believe God grants us Free Will. We believe God grants us dominion over animals on Earth to care for them and protect them. We believe in the tenets of "Do Unto Others" and "Love Thy Neighbor." *Band, in anthropology, a type of human social organization consisting of a small number of people who form a egalitarian community and cooperate in activities such as subsistence, security, ritual, and care for animals, children and elders.
WHY WE ARE A 501D INSTEAD OF A 501C: A 501C has restrictions on working with family and being politically active. We are a family oriented business and our academic program includes working on legistation with politicians to pass laws that protect animals. We are still a non profit business but donations to a 501D are not tax deductible. Our finances including donations, payrolls and expenses will be available for all to see on our website beginning Spring 2025, followed by quartely reports posted.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS: We are currently accepting applications for the Board. Updates will be posted when relevent.
